Of Course Sue Boldra is a Republican!

Earlier today on the Kansas01 blog reporting on our website, a commenter posted:

Pro-gay marriage? Pro-abortion? Carrying on the Clinton legacy? Is she running as a democrat or republican? I thought another republican was getting into the race.
In response, of course Sue Boldra is a Republican. She is more of a Republican than Wasinger, Huelskamp, and Barker will ever be.

The difference is this: Sue Boldra believes that people make the best decisions on how to govern their own moral lives, not the government. Isn't that a Republican value? Shouldn't it be? The government has no right to tell women what to do with their bodies, nor do they have any right to tell a woman that she must marry a man in order to be recognized in society as being "married."

The Republican Party lost its way because it has promoted candidates who appeal to so-called "values voters." In order to rebuild our party we must be able to appeal to everyone in the spectrum. The next generation of voters WILL favor women's reproductive rights, and we must appeal to them. Being "pro-life" and "pro-marriage" are things of the past.

I am, however, glad that the commenter couldn't tell if Sue Boldra is a Republican. That is a good sign that she doesn't fit the profile of a modern-day Republican candidate. That is why we want her to enter the race in the first place!

I am so glad to see that a woman can bring some sanity to this race. you go girl! I for one am sick of all the people voting on moral issues. I have not been involved in politics much but think she is a candidate I could get excited about!

Are you sure you are running as a Republican? She is pro-gay marriage, pro-unions, Pro -abortion...not my kind of Republican. you sure won't get many votes in my town..that's for sure.

Boldra sounds like a RINO.
But you're right. The Republican Party does have a basis in letting people decide things rather than government. However, I believe you'll find such inaccuracies in both parties' platforms.
For example, why would the bleeding heart Democrats, who want to save endangered rodents or the environment, big on children and education and children's health, also be the party so ready and willing to support abortion? I've never understood that.
Boldra will be wasting her money. No shot.

So what makes her a Republican?

This is hilarious. It's like somebody from another campaign thinks she might get in the race and started this blog to expose her before she ever gets in. Very smart.

Why would Sue Boldra run for Congress when she has no "Prarie Pride?" Didn't you hear of her fight with McPherson County in the naming of the road outside her property?

"The government has no right to tell women what to do with their bodies?" Are you kidding me? So does she also support prostitution? What about drug use? The government DOES tell people what they can and cannot do with their bodies, and for good reason. The only exception to this is abortion and I will absolutely vote AGAINST anyone who supports this.

This is a fake blog, has nothing to do with Boldra, and was a nasty political trick coming from the Wasinger campaign.

Ahh, I see, so the Huelskamp people are now going to pin it on Wasinger! Tricky Tricky

I think it's Wasinger's people, and lord knows I'm not a Huelskamp person.

What kind of logic is this? Because you stand for one thing does not imply you stand for another. I am all for the right to bear arms, that does not mean I think I have a right to have biological weapons. I believe that drugs should be illegal, not that all persons who have tried drugs should go to prison.
